Description
The National Marrow Donor Program® (NMDP)/Be The Match®, the CIBMTR® (Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research®), and the NMDP/Be The Match Histocompatibility Advisory Group published new unrelated adult donor and cord blood unit (CBU) selection guidelines in September 2019. 

The guidelines aim to summarize current evidence-based research that provides a foundation for the search and selection aspects of unrelated adult donor and umbilical cord blood transplantation. They update the guidelines last published in 2012.
