Product Labeling Training
Description
This course reviews how the ISBT 128 Product Labeling standards apply to products collected for NMDP.
Target Audience
All staff involved in marrow & apheresis collection, including product labelers and verifiers.
Learning Objectives
- Identify the process and materials for ISBT 128 labeling of NMDP products
- Calculate relevant anticoagulants and additives used before, during and after product collection
- Prepare required tags, labels, and accompanying documents for collected products
- Apply process for verification of final labeling
Getting Started
- Complete the ISBT 128 Product Labeling Module
- Generate and print Certificate of Completion at the end of the module
- Retain Certificate of Completion according to facility requirements
